I may love being flashy and doing fadc combos, but there are plenty of ways to land Abel's ultra outside of those if you have trouble performing some of the more difficult ways. I'm showing some of the basic tricks and techniques to land Abel's Ultra without the use of a fadc, many of the ways I used (and still do) before becoming comfortable with the fadc, to help out new players to Street Fighter or players that just want to start using Abel. I'll do my best to give a good explanation of each section here: 1. The bait and punish is pretty self explanatory. Baiting wake up reversals is most commonly done against Shoto users (Ryu, Ken, etc.) but I used Balrog as an example because it's also very easy to get Balrog players to use a wake up headbutt. The second option works by getting your opponent to think you're going to throw and then landing a neutral jump attack on them as they grab air trying to tech, it's good to try this on an opponent's wake up or stopping in the middle of a combo and doing it, such as after the first hit of CoD, just use this sparingly (if at all) against characters with dragon punch type moves. 2. This way can be done against any character with a fireball. Ryu, Ken, and Gouken are the easiest, be careful against other characters like Sagat, Guile, and Chun Li though as they recover from their versions faster - I wouldn't recommend trying it on them more than half screen away.
