If you want your bangs more defined, you can also use a 1 1/4 inch curling iron. I just prefer using all of the rollers at once to make it quicker and less time consuming with less products needed. I love using these rollers because I can let them sit in my hair for however long and do my makeup, get dressed, eat, etc, all while the rollers are working its magic on my locks. These have a velvety fabric on the actual roller so they won't damage your hair. I find you don't need a heat protectant at all. The claws don't grip too well but I can still manage with them. Tips: If you want your curls to last longer, you should also use some form of product in your hair before you begin putting the rollers in (eg Mousse would be great).
